KURETAKE Gansai Tamebi Graphite Colors Pack of 6
Gansai Tambi Graphite Colors is a new art material made by mixing graphite and color pigments in a unique ratio. It features the matte texture unique to graphite and deep, calm colors. If you polish the areas where you have applied it at a high concentration, you can also create a metallic luster.
It has excellent light resistance and can be used for all types of art work, including illustrations, brush writing, calligraphy, and paintings.
★What should I use to get a metallic shine?
There are no recommended tools for polishing, but
I use the following tools when creating my works.
・Agate stick (art supplies with agate stones attached)
・Butter knife
・Spoon
・Nails or finger pads
★ Tips for polishing
- If you polish it with a sharp object, the surface will be scraped and scratches will become more noticeable, so it is easier to polish it with an object that has a flat surface.
・If you dilute it so much that it doesn't have a graphite feel, it will be difficult to achieve a glossy finish, so it is better to dilute it so that some dark areas remain, making it easier to polish.
*If you apply it too thickly, resin may remain on the surface when it dries and harden, so we would appreciate it if you could adjust the concentration.
